Hydrocele is a collection of fluid in the layers surrounding the testis. This fluid collects between the individual layers and results in swelling of the scrotum. The formation of Hydrocele is very common in hiv positive patients.
The patients with Hydrocele usually present with swelling in the groin region specifically the scrotum. Usually there is a dull pain that accompanies the formation of a Hydrocele.
